Workforce Management Sales Representative
(timekeeping, HR, and payroll software sales)

Company History
Evens Time, Inc. is a family-owned, 82-year old Value-Added Reseller company. We offer competitive benefits, including health care, life insurance, and retirement. We have a large customer base, and the products and services we offer lend themselves to “add-on” sales to existing customers, as well as new opportunities. Since all businesses have to pay employees, we have a wealth of potential prospects!
Job Overview
The Workforce Management Sales Representative will be responsible for all sales relating to web-based (and occasionally licensed) workforce management systems (timekeeping, HR, payroll, and scheduling), synchronized wall clock systems, occasional time clocks, and identification (imaging) systems. This position requires a combination of desk and field work, with sales activity consisting of online demos (and some times on-site demos), phone and email follow-up, and negotiating.
Job Duties
  • Furnishing proposals and quotations to prospects
  • Preparing system demonstrations and presenting to prospects (hardware and software)
  • Telemarketing and cold calling
  • Attending trade shows and networking events
  • Accurately completing paperwork for all sales activities and orders.
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will posses the following traits:
  • Fast and accurate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail (this is HIGHLY important, as each system integration is unique, and mistakes are costly!)
  • Willingness to learn the proven sales activity model before trying other models
  • Good LISTENING skills so the customer can be accurately quoted
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and NOT afraid to cold call.
Compensation
A starting salary range of $29,000-$32,000 (depending on experience) is provided, PLUS up to20% of profit on each order (depending upon quota achievement) is paid in commission. Therefore, there is no limit to earning potential! (typically, a first-year sales representative will earn at least $45,000, second year typically $60,000, and it is quite possible to earn over $100,000). There is a ramp-up quota for the first year.
